Mununga was loaned to FC Eindhoven for one season last summer. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder made six appearances in the second tier of Dutch football. His most recent minutes came on 5 December, when the Dutch second-tier side recorded a 4–0 victory over city rivals Jong PSV.
Sporting Director Jeffrey van As explains the decision to bring Mununga back to Lommel: “Last summer, we decided to loan Théo out so that he could gain more playing time and experience in professional football. However, after discussions with FC Eindhoven, we concluded that this was not the case. We therefore jointly agreed that it is currently in Théo’s best interest to return to Lommel. He will rejoin our group with immediate effect.”
