Seuntjens made his professional debut in 2008 with RBC Roosendaal, then enjoyed spells at several Dutch clubs, including VVV-Venlo, De Graafschap and NAC Breda. The Breda-born forward also spent a brief stint in Japan with FC Imabari. To date he has racked up 513 senior appearances, scoring 151 goals and supplying 81 assists.
“Lommel SK didn’t waste any time from the very first conversation,” Seuntjens explains. “The club quickly made it clear they wanted me and my experience, which felt great. The chance to cross the border one more time in my career is something I really want to embrace. Next season I hope to mentor the young lads, help them develop, and of course grab my minutes and a few goals. I’m excited to get started!”
Sporting Director Jeffrey van As backs up the words of the man nicknamed ‘The Seun of God’: “I’ve known Ralf for a long time and his experience is immense. He brings not only know-how but also real power and footballing quality. He may be 36, but he’s still extremely fit, so the decision was easy for us. Ralf will act as a mentor for our youngsters. On top of that, he knows what it’s like to play for the top places, and we’re keen to make use of that.”
