Reumers becomes Lommel SK’s latest addition. The talented youngster from Oudsbergen arrives immediately from KRC Genk U18, with whom he won the Belgian U18 title last season. He is no stranger to Lommel SK: from 2017 to 2022 he was already finding the net in Groen and Wit. After brief stints at Anderlecht and then KRC Genk, the striker now returns to familiar ground.
That makes this a special moment for Reumers: “Coming back to Lommel really feels like coming home. I spent five seasons in the youth academy with great pleasure and have always felt welcome here. This feels like the perfect time to return. Lommel SK is known for giving young talent quick opportunities, and I can’t wait to join the group.”
“Alongside experience, we naturally want to keep strengthening the squad with young talent,” says Sporting Director Jeffrey van As. “Alexander fits that profile perfectly: 18 years old, talented and from our own region. He already knows the club because he played in our youth ranks not so long ago. We want to continue developing young, home-grown players, and Alexander embodies that vision, which is why he’ll immediately join the first-team squad.”
