Reyners is an attack-minded player who can operate in multiple positions. His versatility and dynamism were on full display in recent years at Beerschot, where he played a key role in the team that became champion in the Challenger Pro League. Prior to his two seasons there, Reyners spent three years with SK Beveren, where he also came close to promotion to the top tier. With his experience, versatility, and local roots, Reyners fits seamlessly into the sporting vision of Lommel SK.
Now, Reyners is opting for a new chapter in his home: Limburg. “I’m super happy to be back in North Limburg,” Reyners begins. “Lommel SK is a club I grew up with, so I’m incredibly proud to now wear the green and white myself. The club is ambitious and wants to move forward, and I feel the same way. I want to be an important figure both on and off the pitch, with hard work, passion, and hopefully many great moments for our supporters. I’m really looking forward to the season and can’t wait to meet the fans and build something special together.”
Sporting Director Jeffrey van As explains the reasoning behind the signing: “We’ve focused on building stronger local ties and adding more experience to the squad. Tom embodies that ambition — a local player who, despite still being relatively young, has a lot of experience at this level. He knows what it takes to succeed in 1B. With his work ethic, commitment, and personality, he’s a perfect addition to the group. We’re delighted he’s chosen Lommel SK and look forward to seeing him in action.”
