In January 2022, Cauê joined Lommel SK, arriving from the Brazilian club Novorizontino. In total, Cauê played 42 matches in Groen-Wit, scoring 16 goals. This performance earned him a loan move to Benfica’s second team in 2023.

This season, Cauê moved to Gil Vicente, competing in Portugal’s highest divison. With Gil Vicente, the Brazilian played 16 matches, finding the net once. Now, after half a year at Gil Vicente, Cauê heads to fellow top-flight side Casa Pia.

Lommel SK’s sporting director, James McCarron, explained the decision to loan Cauê to a new team: “Cauê has made a strong impression over the past few years, both with us and in Portugal.”
