During his time in Lommel, Bould helped grow the Groen & Wit. Under his leadership, Lommel SK showcased an attractive and competitive style of play and came extremely close to securing promotion to the Jupiler Pro League for the first time in more than 20 years, reaching the play off final. He leaves the squad with strong foundations and team culture.
“Steve has made an important impact on Lommel SK,” said Sporting Director James McCarron. “We thank him for his dedication, expertise and vision. We part ways on amicable terms and with the utmost respect. We now turn our focus to the next chapter in this club’s great history and have a plan in place to ensure a smooth transition.”
Reflecting on his time with the club, Bould expressed gratitude: “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together over the past two and a half years. The players at Lommel SK and the staff of both the club and City Football Group have been fantastic, and I will always cherish my time at this beautiful club.”

Lommel SK will now begin the process of identifying a new Head Coach to continue building on the strong foundations that are in place. To ensure a smooth transition, Academy Director, Kristof Van Hout, will step up to as Interim Assistant Coach to further support Ryan Garry.
