Mattijs Manders appointed as new CEO of Lommel SKClub24 sepMattijs Manders has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer of Lommel SK. With more than 15 years working experience in several CEO roles, Manders brings with him a strong and extensive background in commercial areas and finance within the sports industry.
Manders has held two similar positions within City Football Group’s leadership team. Most recently, Manders served as CEO of ESTAC Troyes in French Ligue 2. Before that, he served as CEO of City Football Group China. A Dutch native and speaker, Manders has important leadership experience within the Dutch football industry specifically. He held the CEO position at two professional Dutch football clubs – ADO Den Haag and NAC Breda – where he led all business operations. He has also held the CEO position at the Dutch football league organisation (Eredivisie). Following his appointment as new Chief Executive Officer of Lommel SK, Mattijs Manders said: “It is an honor to be named the new CEO of Lommel SK and to have the opportunity to lead this very special Club in this very special community. Lommel SK is an important part of the history, present and future of Belgian football. We will build on the Club’s strong foundations and continue to grow all areas of Lommel SK. We will ensure we remain authentic and true to the Club’s community roots while also having the ambition to be at the top of Belgian football, both on and off the pitch. As I was born and raised in Eindhoven area, close to Lommel, I am sure I will feel at home immediately.
