Rik Vercauteren signs with Lommel SK Men 04 sep Goalkeeper Rik Vercauteren has signed a one-season contract with Lommel SK. He was under contract with RSC Anderlecht until last season.
Vercauteren swapped the youth training of Waasland-Beveren for that of RSC Anderlecht in 2016. In November 2022, he made his professional debut in the shirt of RSCA Futures. In July 2023, he extended his contract with Anderlecht until mid-2024.

Sproting Director James McCarron: "Rik has already demonstrated his abilities at Anderlecht via RSCA Futures and he adds depth to a position that contains some top young talent. We're excited to see how grow within our team across the coming years."

Now Rik chooses to continue his career at Lommel SK. Here, he will meet his former goalkeeper coach Nicolas Nerinckx again. Welcome to Lommel and good luck, Rik!
