As a purebred Lommelaar, he is therefore proud of what he has achieved: "After five years in charge of the commercial department of this wonderful club, I will soon say farewell with great pride. I am proud and grateful to have been able to do my part in the resurrection of Lommel SK. Everyone has noticed the transformation of our structure, our infrastructure and our overall product. We have worked hard but I am convinced that the future looks even brighter for this club. I would like to thank all colleagues, volunteers, partners, supporters and other stakeholders for their unconditional support. I look forward to coming to cheer on our boys with my children soon, because they too, like many other Lommel children, have become fans of Lommel SK."
CEO Mike Green on Lodewijks' departure: "Lennert has been an important member of our team and someone I have valued highly since my arrival in Lommel three years ago. We have worked very closely across many community and commercial projects which Lennert has driven forward with professionalism and innovation. Lennert leaves us with our thanks for all his hard work across the past 5 years and we wish him and his family all the best in all their future endeavours. We will communicate shortly our plans for the future management of all impacted projects."
Lodewijks will be active at the club until mid-July.
