The tension rises in the Soevereinstadion Men 30 apr Tomorrow, the second game of the Promotion Play-offs semi-finals is on the agenda. Thanks to last weekend's good result in Waregem, our confidence has received an extra boost. Tomorrow we play at home, in our stadium, for a place in the next round. Looking ahead, we do so with our midfield engine who played his 100th game for Lommel SK last weekend, Lucas Schoofs. The goal in the closing stages last weekend also pleased Lucas. ‘I think 1-1 was a fair result. Neither Zulte nor us had too many chances and then it's nice that you can still score the equaliser at the end of the game. Zulte showed they can put up a good defence and it is then up to us to handle the ball possession carefully. We need to improve that to Wednesday and then I am confident we can get a good result,’ Lucas started.

How does Lucas look at tomorrow's match? ‘These are matches that depend on details. We are both evenly matched, but I hope we can make the most of the home advantage tomorrow. With the support of our fans, we can always go that extra mile. So I hope they will all be there to support us. Last weekend's result was a mental boost for everyone at the club, you could see it in the reaction of the supporters after the game, but we are far from finished. We will have to go full steam ahead for another 90 minutes on Wednesday.’

The belief is there though that we can get far in these Play-offs. ‘We believe in ourselves, but it's a long way to go. So we will have to be sharp every game because there is no room for error in these games. We have also seen in the regular league that the teams in this series are evenly matched and we are wary of that as well.’
