Ciner Glass is a global container glass production company that will open the Lommel glass plant at Kristalpark III in Lommel in 2025. Ciner Glass is a subsidiary of Turkey Ciner Group and will create 550 new jobs in Lommel. The choice of the city of Lommel is obvious, thinks Ciner Glass CEO, Gokhan Sen: "On the one hand, Lommel is of course the focal point of the glass industry On the other hand, the city location is also very favourable", he says. "Its proximity to major industries, its central location at the crossroads of important transport routes, its access to raw materials like white sand and the knowledge its workers make this region the perfect choice for this project."

Over the next few years the company will create over 500 direct and 500 indirect jobs. Still this year, the first jobs will come on the market. Ciner Glass will feature on the back of our shirts until the end of the season and also choose further brand recognition via our fixed and LED-boarding. Also for the 2024- 2025 season, they are already showing their strong commitment to grow together with the club.

We are therefore pleased that we can help Ciner Glass in increasing their brand recognition in our region as well as trigger candidate employees for the new employer through our channels. In fact, the link between our club and glass production is woven into our club logo in which the laurel branches have been given a sharp edge, a reference to traditional glass production in the region."

Lommel SK and Ciner Glass will start the cooperation until at least June 2025. Also, the game on March 16, Lommel SK - RSCA Futures, will be kicked off by the directors of Ciner Glass.
