Ryan Garry is the new assistant coach of Lommel SK. Men 02 jan Ryan Garry has started as new assistant coach at Lommel SK. Ryan joins head coach Steve Bould?s technical staff and will replace Kristof Van Hout. Kristof took over the role of assistant coach as interim since the start of the season. He will now focus fully back on his role as Academy Director.
Ryan Garry (born 29 September 1983) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender and could also operate as a midfielder for Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth.

Ryan started his coaching career in 2011 as manager of the U21's of Bournemouth. In the summer of 2012, he became the Director of youth development at the Nike Academy. One year later, he moved again to Arsenal to work as a head coach in several youth teams. Ryan Garry worked there together with our head coach Steve Bould for Arsenals U18's.

In 2021, he was appointed as head coach of the England U18's. In the summer of 2022, Garry was appointed as head coach of the England U17's leading them to the 2023 UEFA U17%u2019s Championships and the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup.

Ryan is happy to be back working with Steve Bould: "I am very delighted to be part of Lommel SK family. I'm looking forward to support Steve Bould and the players at the Soevereinstadion. Everyone has made me very welcome and I'm looking forward to meeting the local fans and community in the next few weeks. I see the huge potential here at this club and our ambition is clear. I hope to contribute to a productive second half of the season."

Performance Director James McCarron: "We are delighted to be able to announce the arrival of Ryan Garry as our new assistant coach (T2). Ryan has a wealth of experience in developing top talent as the England U17 Head Coach who recently competed in both the U17 World Cup and U17 European Championships. Previously Ryan was also a Professional Development Coach at Arsenal FC for over 8 years. Everyone at the club wishes Ryan a warm welcome as we look forward to the second half of the season."
